Decision 03/2013/QD-TTg on delaying the time required for labeling equipments

Household electrical appliances such as fluorescent tube, electric cooker, electric fans will be delayed the time for energy labeling to 6 months, starting on July 1^st 2013.

The above point in time is also applies to the group of industrial equipments including electric motors, three-phase distribution transformers.

Particularly the electronic devices such as refrigerators, horizontal cage washing machines, cameras were delayed to one year, starting energy labeling from January 1^st 2014.

From January 1^st 2015, the production and import of home appliances that have lower energy efficiency than the minimum energy efficiency will be banned.

This is the information stipulated in Decision 03/2013/QD-TTg, amending and supplementing Decision 51/2011/QD-TTg and entered into force on January 15^th 2013.
